Ocean Surfari

 Come snorkeling with us aboard Reef Surfari, our new 47’ power catamaran, through the Virgin Islands National Park around St. John in the beautiful USVI. We depart daily from the dock behind our retail store Ocean Surfari in Red Hook on St Thomas at 9:30 and head to Cruz Bay to pick up our St John guests from the beach in front of our retail store Ocean Surfari at 10:00. From there we head to two different snorkel spots to look for sea turtles, beautiful corals and a plethora of tropical fish. We will have an open bar with rum punch, painkillers, cold beers, sodas and water as well as light snacks for your refreshment after snorkeling. Alcohol is served beginning at the second snorkel spot once you are finished swimming. After snorkeling, we will return to St. John to drop off our guests at 12:30 and then back to St Thomas at 1:00.

Reef2Peak

 Watermelon Cay is located on the east side of Leinster Bay on the north shore of St John. This area has many Danish ruins including a plantation, school and guard house. This area is equally rich with history and natural beauty! Our hike follows the flat, mile long Leinsterxa Bay Trail along the water’s edge through dappled shade and ending near Watermelon Cay. Once there you can relax on shore, explore the Johnny Horn trail, or take a short 1/10th mile swim over starfish & sea cucumbers to Watermelon Cay and some of St John’s best snorkeling. Circling the cay the sea is usually calm and sea life is plentiful. Parrotfish and colorful blue tang abound, spotted eagle rays & green turtles are common and if you are lucky you might spot a well camouflaged octopus. After our explorations we return back along the trail, ending our journey at the fascinating Annanburg Ruins where you can take a self guided park tour.

Cruz Bay Watersports

Join us aboard one of our luxury catamarans to enjoy a sun filled day of sailing and snorkeling with a lunch stop at the Private Lovango Resort and Beach Club. After departing from Frenchman's Reef Private Dock we will sail over towards Lovango Cay for a fantastic snorkeling stop on the way. After snorkeling, guests will be welcomed ashore at Lovango Resort and Beach Club for a casual waterfront dining experience. In addition to dining, guests will also welcome to enjoy outdoor bar, eclectic retail shops, ice cream shop, beach games and a casual lounge area. To round out the perfect day, guests will then enjoy a leisurely downwind sail home to The Frenchman's Reef Resort.

Cruz Bay Watersports

 The Buck Island Snorkel Sail combines the best of the Virgin Islands: superior luxury sailing, exceptional snorkeling and an opportunity to explore the unique island lifestyle of Water Island. This 5-hour excursion begins with a scenic morning sail to Buck Island where we will snorkel with sea turtles and even explore a sunken shipwreck (conditions permitting)! Then we will make our way to Water Island where you can enjoy lunch and explore the various beach bars and restaurants that line the beach. After lunch, enjoy the open bar on the return to Frenchman's Reef.

Join us on the power catamaran Jost Boat for a snorkel adventure and lunch at a floating taco bar! Take a cruise on the south shores of St. Thomas and St. John and enjoy a morning snorkel off one of the many coral reefs surrounding St. John. After the snorkel stop, the boat continues on to Lime Out, the only floating taco bar in the Virgin Islands for a taco lunch on board. The trip includes a two taco lunch per guest. The Brewers Bay hike is an advanced route on St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. After the hike, we will enjoy some snorkeling at Brewers Bay beach. This is a beautiful beach where you can enjoy the waves crashing in from both sides and climb on rocks and coral!

Check out this hike + snorkeling tour near Charlotte Amalie, Saint Thomas. Once we begin the excursion, we will shuttle you on an open-air safari shuttle to our hike location. The Santa Maria hike is a moderately challenging route in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. After the hike, we will enjoy some snorkeling at Santa Maria beach. This is a beautiful beach where you can enjoy the waves crashing in from both sides and climb on rocks and coral!

 Check out this 2.5 mile out-and-back trail near Charlotte Amalie, Saint Thomas. This is a pretty easy route (for all ages!), it takes an average of 1 hour and 54 minutes to complete the hike down to Mermaid's Chair in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. The hike is more of a paved walk down a road through a neighborhood than a traditional hike. After the hike,3 Hours: Hike will last 2 hours and then snorkeling will last about an hour. We will go to Sandy Bay beach to enjoy some snorkeling. This is a beautiful beach where you can enjoy the waves crashing in from both sides and climb on rocks and coral!

Ocean Surfari

Join us for a morning snorkel and pizza lunch around Little and Great St James in the St Thomas East End Reserves marine sanctuary. We leave from the dock behind our retail store Ocean Surfari at 9:30am and head to St John to pick up guests on the beach in Cruz Bay in front of our retail store Ocean Surfari at 10:00. From there we cruise over to a snorkel spot to see beautiful coral reefs and tropical fish at Little St James. Next, we head to Christmas Cove at Great St James for another fantastic snorkel while we wait for our fresh pizza lunch to be delivered via dinghy from Pizza PI, the sailboat famous for their pizza kitchen. Sodas, water, beer, rum punch and painkillers are available with the open bar (alcohol is served AFTER snorkeling is done). After an early lunch, we cruise back to St John to drop our guests off at 12:30 and then head back to St Thomas at 1:00. Pizza, snacks, drinks and snorkel gear are all included in the $75 for adults and $45 for children 12 and under. New mouth pieces are available for purchase.
